Stobart Group

Operating from over 40 sites across the UK and Europe, Stobart Group is one of the UK’s front-runners in multimodal logistics, warehousing and biomass fuel sectors. At the core of the Group’s offering is Eddie Stobart, the iconic name behind a huge road haulage fleet totalling some 2,250 tractor units and over six million sq ft of warehousing. Multimodal services are completed by Stobart Rail and Stobart Air – which operates two airports including London Southend. Stobart Biomass, which supplies biomass fuels for low-carbon electricity generation, continues the Group’s emphasis on sustainability.

Stobart Transport and Distribution

With some 2,250 vehicles and over seven million square feet of warehousing, Stobart Transport and Distribution covers all the Group’s transport, storage and handling services, meeting ambient and chilled distribution, and warehousing requirements across ten business units. Operating from over 40 sites in the UK and Europe, the Group’s multimodal offering includes road transport, rail freight, air operations and port services.

Stobart Estates

Stobart Group owns a diverse portfolio of properties, ranging from prestige retail sites through light industrial buildings and distribution centres, to premium office space as well as a variety of holdings utilized by the Group’s operational business units.  Stobart Group-occupied property includes airports and a waterway port in addition to a network of offices, warehouse sites and depots.

Stobart Infrastructure and Civil Engineering

Incorporating Stobart Rail and Stobart Civil Engineering, this division delivers internal and external infrastructure and development projects across the Group.  A fully comprehensive operation, Stobart Infrastructure and Engineering delivers completed projects from the design and planning stage through to hand over, covering a broad range of industrial, warehousing, freight, distribution and rail infrastructure requirements.

Stobart Air

Stobart Air is operator of two complementary airport facilities located at Southend and Carlisle. The sites, which are already home to a number of successful commercial tenants, also represent attractive locations for subsidiary businesses and the development of both passenger and air freight services.

Stobart Biomass

The launch of Stobart Biomass Products represents a pivotal move into a rapidly developing new business sector for the Group. Stobart Biomass sources sustainable biomass, primarily life-expired timber and low-grade softwood – for the generation of minimum-carbon power plants, utilised both in large-scale electricity generation and smaller, on-site industrial power plants.

Stobart Brand

The Stobart brand is used extensively to promote the Group’s businesses and has been recognised as one of Britain’s strongest Superbrands for the last six years running. The Group operates its own Members Club, retails a wide range of merchandise, has its own TV show and is involved with the sponsorship of selected sports and charities.
