LEARNING TO FLY

You can choose fixed wing aircraft or helicopters, with many exams to be taken along the way such as Principles of Flight, Air Navigation, Weather and much more.
A typical flying course from the start to holding a Private Pilot’s Licence in a single engined propeller aircraft will cost between £4,500 and £6,000. There are several flying training schools at Southend with a choice of ab initio and more advanced training facilities.
Trial flights can be enjoyed from as little as £99 and are a perfect introduction to flying light aircraft.
