ATC Lasham announces a major new expansion of facilities at Southend Airport

^{ATC Lasham announces a major new expansion of facilities at Southend Airport}

^{ATC Lasham and Southend Airport are pleased to announce that they have agreed terms for ATC Lasham to take on 2 additional hangars covering over 40,000sq ft at the airport to support their growing business. This increases their hangarage capacity by 50%.}

^{In addition ATC Lasham, who already employ over 150 full time staff have announced they have commenced the recruitment of 30 additional full time staff. This is in addition to the 80 contracted staff they already employ.}

^{Commenting on this expansion, ATC Lasham Base Manager Ian Dorling said ‘We are pleased to announce this expansion of our business at Southend – and we very much hope that, provided the airport can develop, we will be able to announce further recruitment activity in the near future. Almost all our staff live locally and as strong supporters of the apprenticeship scheme at the airport we are looking forward to providing more high quality jobs for our growing workforce over the coming years.’}
