Flybe launches London Southend to Newquay service

Leading regional airline to maintain route with three flights per week 

Tickets go on sale today (Tuesday 28 January) for a three times weekly Flybe service between London Southend Airport and Newquay.

The route to UK’s surfing capital from London’s newest airport was recently withdrawn by easyJet – however Europe’s largest independent regional airline has just announced it will now offer flights between 16 May and 27 September 2014.

The seats are on sale from today at www.flybe.comwith one way fares from £24.99 including taxes and charges. Flights will operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Paul Simmons, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer, says “It was an easy decision to keep this route alive. We will be flying it for an extended four-month summer season, and look forward to welcoming all of our new customers on board.
