Driving

London Southend Airport is 41 miles (61km) east of Central of London, linked directly to the M25 at Junction 29, A127/A12 London-Southend road and A13 London-Southend Road.

The M25 is a twenty-minute drive away (Junction 29), providing connections to the national road and motorway network. We would advise all passengers travelling to or from the airport using the M25 to use the A127 Junction 29 exit to either gain access to the M25 or on approach to the airport. If travelling from the M25 to the airport please follow signage for ‘Southend A127’. Signage for the airport will become available once nearer the centre of Southend.

If travelling to or from the airport through Kent using the M25 please be aware that the payment system for the Dartford crossing has now changed. The charge now needs to be paid either through the online system or postage system. Pay for the crossing online.
