London Southend Airport tries to process all passengers as efficiently as possible. We suggest that all charter flight passengers arrive three hours before their flight, and all scheduled flight passengers arrive two hours before their flight.
Passengers with hand luggage only can check in up to 40 minutes before take-off.
All passengers with hold luggage should check in at least one hour before their flight is due to take off.
Each relevant airline will be able to advise on the maximum size and weight of hand luggage.

Aer Arann Regional do not currently offer this service from London Southend Airport.
However please check with your relevant airline before you travel.
Luggage
Most airlines accept a small piece of hand luggage to be taken on board, with larger pieces of luggage being placed into the hold. However this depends on your airline, so please check before you travel.
We would suggest that you follow the below advice to ensure quick and easy access through London Southend Airport.
