Overview:

London Southend Airport is open 24 hours a day with onsite Customs and Immigration services also available 24 hours a day. The newly extended runway provides unrestricted operations for most business jets globally taking the total length to 1,856m x 37m (6,090' x 120') and ILS has been upgraded at both ends. London Southend sits outside the busy London TMA (Terminal Manoeuvring Area) reducing air traffic control delays and holds.

Flight operations:

Experienced flight operations personnel can assist with full flight planning, airway slots, MET services and any other flight information which is required.

Hangarage:

There are numerous hangar options onsite (subject to availability) bookable through the London Southend Handling team. Aircraft size up to ABJ/BBJ/Boeing 757

Apron services:

London Southend offers all of the usual services which can be expected from a quality FBO including; ground power unit, de-icing, toilet/potable water servicing, oxygen and nitrogen replenishment, interior aircraft cleaning and aircraft maintenance for King Air, Embraer, Boeing, Citation, Avro RJ, Learjet and Airbus.

Handling services:

Passenger handling, baggage handling, tea and coffee, refreshments, hotel reservation facility for passengers and crew, local tourist and public transport information, photocopy/fax service, Wi-Fi access, additional security escort, newspapers/magazines and full concierge service.

Catering services:

We are able to offer on-board ice and hot water, cleaning of on-board dishes and utensils and are able to arrange on-board catering.

Meeting Rooms:

Boardroom and conference room facilities are available to book in advance or on the day (subject to availability).

Transfers:

We have the flexibility to offer ramp transfers from aircraft with executive vehicles to Central London, the Olympic site or the West End in less than one hour. Also available are Augusta 109 Helicopter connections; available on site on standby for charters into Battersea Heliport for London's West End (10 min. flight) or alternative location as required.
